  • Maggiy Emery

    Maggiy has worked and consulted on rural races all over her home state of Minnesota and throughout the country, including Dan Feehan (MN-01) and Angie Craig (MN-02). Later, she transitioned into nonprofit fundraising, communications, and organizing. She currently serves as the Director of Development and Communications at Protect Minnesota while advising state and local candidates on fundraising, messaging, organizing, and digital strategies with Rural Rising Project. She lives in Saint Paul.

  • Kyle Hoffman

    Kyle is a fifth-generation rural southern Minnesotan who has spent his career advocating for farmers, workers, and rural communities. He served in the congressional district offices of then-U.S. Representative Tim Walz, and then joined Dan Feehan’s campaign to succeed Walz in Congress as the Political & Communications Director. Kyle has also worked for Senate DFL Caucus as both a political organizer and legislative assistant, and has experience doing nonprofit community development. He currently serves as the Legislative & Communications Coordinator at Minnesota Farmers Union, and advises state and local candidates on political strategy, messaging and communications with Rural Rising Project. He lives in Mankato.

  • Maddie Ulanow

    Maddie got her start in politics in Southern Minnesota, working with the DFL coordinated campaigns in 2012 and 2014 as a student at Carleton College and later as a field organizer for Dan Feehan (MN-01) and Faith in Minnesota. She is currently a graduate student at Harvard focused on grassroots movements and economic development, and advises state and local candidates on field programs, relational organizing, and movement building with Rural Rising Project. She lives in Boston.
